Artist Statement: Inspiration abounds while gazing up through the forest at an awe-inspiring prairie sunrise. Tiny green leaves flutter from the trees as the morning breeze gently blows across the luscious and dramatic backdrop of the never-ending sky. A deep dive through the artist’s many collected and inherited fabrics provides a spectacular palette and visceral response to this modern day nine patch.
