All 5 contains merino wool, mulberry paper and may contain cotton velvet, silk organza, Adele’s silk curtain sample, habotoa silk, linen thread, mint plant fibre, milk fibre, mulberry silk roving sari silk waste, silk hankies and cardboard packing paper.

In creating the wood land series I made lots of samples that proved me with answers on how certain fabrics and plant materials reacted with wool. In addition I made these little mini samples as a design study. They often indicated what design changes needed to be made for the larger pieces.
